Dinner Seating Preferences

Please take a moment to go to the "Booking Preferences" tab of your JoCo Cruise User Account and set your Dinner Seating preference—that is, whether you prefer the Early (5 pm) or Late (7:30 pm) Dinner, or have no preference. Please note: the deadline for submitting Dinner Seating preferences is November 30th .

For your reference, our records indicate your booking's current Dinner Seating preference is *|DINNERSEAT|*. If that doesn't match your expectations, you must fix it by November 30th.

Note: while your booking’s Dinner Seating preference selection is visible to all booking occupants with a User Account, only your booking’s Primary Contact can make changes. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but please note that expressing a preference does not guarantee your being assigned that seating.

Also note: if you're planning to coordinate your dinner seating with any other bookings (as in, you want to all sit together), make sure you all select the same seating preference.

Bed Placement

Hey; while you're looking at your User Account , also take a peek at your requested Bed Placement—whether you want one larger bed or two separate beds—and make sure it matches your expectations. I mean, you're right there anyway. Alternately, read at the next paragraph...

For your reference, our records indicate your booking's current Bed Placement preference is: *|BEDSSTATUS|*.

As with Dinner Seating above, only the the booking's Primary Contact can make changes to this preference.

HAL Mariner Number and Cruiser History

If you're a member of the HAL Mariner Society , and while you're checking your other booking preferences (see above), you can take this opportunity to make sure your Mariner Number is properly associated with your booking. You can check/enter this info in the "Passengers" tab of your User Account .

What is this strange society of mariners we speak of? Basically, it's Holland America's equivalent of a frequent flier program. (But obviously, it doesn't involve flying; if the Nieuw Amsterdam is at any point airborne, we will have other, far more pressing concerns than this program.) Accumulating credits in the Mariner Society entitles you to various benefits onboard—discounts in the shops, spa, specialty restaurants, etc. Details can be found on HAL's Mariner Society page linked above.

Also also: you can also go over your booking's Cruiser History. (It's found under the tab of the same name.) This tab reflects which, if any, previous JoCo Cruises the members of your booking have attended. If any Cruiser History information is inaccurate, let us know and we'll get it fixed.
