What to Do during the Inbetween Time?

Howdy, JoCo Cruisers past and present!

We know that having a whole year between JoCo Cruises is an ETERNITY. For sure it's an awful long time until you can see all your cruise pals again on the Nieuw Amsterdam . (Or if you're new to us: a long time to wait to find a bunch of awesome new pals.) But we have a few ideas on how to keep the vibes going until then...

JoCo Cruise Con Meetups

We have some official events and meetups at several cons coming up. Come find old friends and reminisce about cruises past, or meet new friends, and get excited about and make plans for the upcoming cruise!

• Jun. 22-23: Origins Game Fair , Columbus, OH
• Jonathan has a concert on Saturday (free to all Origins badge holders), along with autograph and photo op sessions on Saturday and Sunday. See his Origins schedule for details.
• Also, you can nab some special JoCo Cruise swag at his table!
• You can connect with other JoCo Cruise folks at this Facebook event page
• Aug. 4: GenCon , Indianapolis, IN
• There's an official GenCon JoCo Cruise Meetup event on Sunday, August 4th at 2 pm at the Crowne Plaza. There's no fee to attend this meetup / no limit to the amount of fun and feels.

Here's a quick rundown of some Dryland-based live shows coming up by Jonathan, Paul & Storm and some of our other 2024 guest performers in the coming months.

LIVE SHOWS

• Jun. 21: Josh Gondelman - The Bell House , Brooklyn, NY
• Josh has a number of live shows coming up throughout the Northeast US; but in particular, he's doing a special taping of his newest comedy special at the Bell House. The early show is sold out, but there's still a few tix available for the late show!
• Jun. 22: Jonathan Coulton - Origins Game Fair , Columbus, OH

• Jun. 28: Daphne Always and James Sheppard - Club Cumming , New York, NY
• Daphne also has Club Cumming shows Jul. 8 & 22 and Aug. 5 & 19.
• Jun. onward: Vance Gilbert
• Vance has a bunch of shows coming up—mostly in the Northeast US, but also in GA, the UK and elsewhere—and he also regularly hosts Vance’sAcousticPajamaParty livestreams.
• Jun. onward: Sierra Hull
• Sierra has a number of music festivals and additional live shows throughout the US this summer and into the fall.

• Jul. 15: Erin Keif (Hey Riddle Riddle) - Dynasty Typewriter , Los Angeles, CA
• Jul. 25: Erin Keif (Hey Riddle Riddle) - Lincoln Hall , Chicago, IL
• Erin is performing two live shows of her podcast Hey Riddle Riddle (with Adal Rifai and John Patrick Coan) in July. Livestream tickets are also available for the Jul. 15 show.
