comedian, improviser and actor Kimia Behpoornia (you may have seen Kimia on Abbott Elementary, and she's in the upcoming season of Dimension 20 )
voice actor, improviser and podcaster Hal Lublin (cast member of Welcome to Night Vale and The Thrilling Adventure Hour, and a JoCo Cruise 2017 alum!)
comedian, writer and actor Julia Shiplett (Julia's been in shows like Love Life, Crashing and High Maintenance)
composer, songwriter and Grammy nominee Mark Sonnenblick (Mark co-wrote a bunch of the songs from a tiny little 2025 independent film called KPop Demon Hunters )

The Holiday season surprises keep coming...it's one of our favorite days of pre-cruise, where we get to show you our merchandise for the upcoming event. This year's poster art is by the super-talented Tim Doyle , and boy did he hit it out of the park, if we do say so ourselves.

Plus, this year we're offering the official "Good Morning, JoCo" coffee mug for all your single-serve beverage needs! (For those of you who weren't on 2025, "Good Morning, JoCo" is our own version of a TV morning show for all things cruise-ical. For 2026, "GMJ" has some fun new features in store for everyone—for one thing, it'll be recorded LIVE in front of an audience each evening. (A morning show taping at night? Time is relative and also a flat circle.)

All these merch items will also be available for purchase onboard JoCo Cruise 2026. But bear in mind that, because all onboard sales have to go through the ship's store, there's some extra markup involved. So if you want your 2026 cruise merch ASAP and at the lowest possible prices, hit us up at DFTBA !

We love this year's poster so much, we're going to include a higher-res version of it at the bottom of this email for you to peruse at your convenience.

No Luggage Direct in San Diego

Many of you who have sailed with us in the past out of Fort Lauderdale have taken advantage of the cruise's Luggage Direct service, wherein you could pay a fee to have your luggage taken from outside your stateroom late on the final evening straight to the airport and checked directly onto your flight for you.

Unfortunately, Luggage Direct service isn't available in San Diego. (Or anywhere other than Fort Lauderdale, actually.) You'll still have the option to leave your bags outside your stateroom on the final night to the cruiseport for you to collect when you disembark in the morning (you'll get details about that process once onboard), but you'll have to get your own bags to the airport this year.

HAL does offer a couple luggage delivery options for travel to and from San Diego . To be sure, they're more expensive than Luggage Direct; but we wanted to make sure you were at least aware of them.
